My Fishing Journey & Expertise

Growing up in the Twin Cities of Minnesota, I started fishing Lake Minnetonka as a kid and never stopped. After years competing in bass tournaments (including top finishes in local circuits), I earned my USCG Captain’s License and turned my love for the lake into Jasper Guide Services. I know every bay, weed line, and drop-off — from Wayzata to Halsteads — and specialize in seasonal changes on the lake and catching whatever is biting, walleye, bass, musky, pike, crappie, and perch.

Giving Back to Lake Minnetonka

I’m passionate about sustainable fishing. As a graduate of the Minnesota DNR’s MinnAquatic Leadership Program, I promote catch-and-release for trophies, proper handling, and habitat protection. I’ve volunteered with kids’ fishing clinics and donated time helping sustain our beautiful lakes. Let’s keep Minnetonka thriving for generations!

Beyond Fishing

When not guiding, I’m a family man enjoying time with my wife on the lake we call home. I also love to tinker with my boats to make them the best fishing machines as possible. My goal? Make every trip feel like fishing with a friend who knows all the secrets.
